Collectors Office Accepting Credit / Debit Card Payments
February 27th, 2013 by Joe BurgessFor your convenience, the Drew County Tax Collectors Office is now accepting Credit Card payments, for delinquent taxes and beginning March 1, on the Current 2012 Tax Year, according toTonya Loveless, Drew County Tax Collector.
Please note that there will be a 2.49% service charged by the supplier that will be applied to your tax payment amount for using your Credit Card.
They are unable to accept debit cards that require the 4 digit pin at this time. Also, they are not yet taking American Express Cards or doing on-line or pay by phone payments. The office will let the public know once this has been set up. As for now, you will need to come into the office to pay by Credit Card. For your convenience, if you have delinquent while wanting to pay current, you will be able to do so at the same time after March 1, 2013 with one Credit Card Transaction.
