Coach Outlaw, Mr. Tucker, & Changes at HHS
January 6th, 2022 by Joe Burgess
Hamburg School Superintendent Tracy Streeter told HamburgHeadlines – I am honored to name Mr. Tim Outlaw as the Athletic Director for Hamburg School District. Mr. Outlaw has coaching experience and knows about the accountability that school leadership involves. He will be able to offer our athletic program the support and guidance it needs to move forward. He is a hard worker, great team player and problem solver. Mr. Outlaw works well with people and his main priority is the success of students.
He will also be the assistant principal over the HUB program at Hamburg High School along with the Athletic Director duties. With him having the background of pushing academics and improving student achievement, I look forward to seeing improvement in the athletic program for Hamburg School District.
Mr. Eddy Tucker has been named the lead principal at Hamburg High School with Penny Martin serving as Mr. Tucker’s assistant.
Mr. Outlaw, Mr. Tucker and Mrs. Martin will continue to serve kids. This is just a way for us to fill the athletic director’s position and still maintain efficiency.
I look forward to the changes in leadership but do not expect big changes. Our goal is to continue serving kids and getting better every day.
Tim Outlaw told us, “I am excited about being the Athletic Director for Hamburg Public School. I am also excited about continuing the high standards in academics and the competitiveness on and off of the playing field that Hamburg Schools offers. We are blessed with great students/athletes, great staff, great facilities, and a great community. I urge everyone to support HSD and all of its extracurricular activities.”
Mr, Tucker said, “As a 1987 graduate of Hamburg High School, I consider it an honor to be able to serve my Alma Mater in this capacity. I look forward to continuing to work with the best staff and serve the best students! Go Lions!”
