Civil Air Patrol Update
August 21st, 2023 by Joe BurgessThe cadets of the 67th Composite Squadron recently traveled to Mexico, Missouri, where they attended the Missouri Wing Encampment.
One cadet attended the Basic Encampment, while the other five joined the Advanced Training Squadron, where they learned how to effectively lead cadets at future encampments and events. The Missouri Wing Encampment took place at the Missouri Military School, founded in 1889 after Colonel A.F. Fleet raised enough local money to open its doors and is home to a college preparatory military boarding school that teaches boys in 7th to 12th grade.
All of our cadets accepted the challenge and put in the hard work, day after day and came out the other side as stronger cadets who learned the importance of leadership, character development, physical activity and teamwork. In the process, they have made friends that will last a lifetime.
Congratulations to the cadets of the 67th Composite Squadron on your graduation from the Missouri Wing Encampment.
