City Water Operator Completes State Testing for Level 4 Water Distribution and Treatment Licensing

The City of Monticello wishes to congratulate Zach Frost on recently passing his Level 4 Water Distribution and Treatment testing. Frost now only must complete a predetermined amount of time of field work before operating at the Class 4 level independently. Class 4 is the highest level available through the Arkansas Department of Health.
Mr. Frost was training in the Arkansas Rural Water Operator Apprentice Program, which was funded this year at the request of the Mayor. Mr. Frost’s participation in the program is no longer required since he passed his state testing.
“There is a shortage of water operators in municipalities nationwide. Monticello will soon have two full time, which is a significant benefit to our community”.
