DCSO Arrests City Truck Theft Suspect

Thanks to the Drew County Sheriff’s Dept, their second suspect (accused of the theft of 2 City of Monticello trucks) in custody.
Richard Dewayne Block, was arrested by Sheriff Mark Gober and his deputies, Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 in the New Light community. (Franciscus Bell was arrested last week.)
Block is one of two suspect in the theft of the two work trucks, on June 9.
One truck was recovered near Wilmar; the other was located inside of the city.
Block’s bond was set at $15,000 by Circuit Judge Sam Pope, Thursday afternoon.
