City Clerk/Treasurer Peggy Akers to Serve as Acting Mayor til June Election

At Thursday night’s special called City Council meeting, all six members of the council unanimously voted to have city clerk/treasurer Peggy Akers continue to serve as acting mayor, until the June 8 election to fill the reminder of Mayor Dane Weindorf’s term, which expires at the end of 2022.
