City Auditors Working on ’13,’14, & ’15 Audits at City Hall

As Santa Claus said to the M&M characters, “they do exist!;” and so do the auditors for the City of Monticello.
According to Mayor Zack Tucker, they will be working in the City Hall until the audit for 2013, 2014, and 2015 are completed, hopefully by next Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
Last week, MLive posted a letter from the Department of Legislative Audit that was sent to home addresses of all City Council members, notifying them personally of the legal ramifications of extremely past due audits.
