Circuit Judge Luevonda Ross Passes Away
December 5th, 2016 by iPhoneAttorney P. Luevonda Ross passed away, Friday morning, of cancer, at the age of 52.
Judge Ross was a former Drew County District Judge, and had just been elected to the position of 10th Judicial Circuit Judge, to take the bench in January.
Judge Ross was an honor-graduate of Monticello High School, the Monticello-Drew County Chamber of Commerce 2014 Woman of the Year and recipient of the NAACP 2013 Leadership Award.
Ms. Ross was a dedicated member and teacher at Kennedy Blvd. Church of Christ.

She was one of my dearest college friends and my heart is broken for her family and for all of us.

So very sorry to read that Judge Ross has died. She was such an intelligent, wonderful, caring person. My condolences to her family and host of friends. She will certainly be missed by a lot of people.
