Church Van Catalytic Converter Thefts Hitting Drew County Churches

Catalytic converter‘s are one of the recently increasing theft items, due to the high dollar metals they are made from.
Recently, multiple church vans have been victim to catalytic converter theft, including Enon Baptist Church, around a month ago.
This morning (Saturday) Second Baptist Church in Monticello notified local police that two of their vans catalytic converters had been stolen.
The theft process is very quick, often using simply a portable Sawsall.
This post is simply to make residents m, as well as churches, aware of the increasing targeted thefts, in hopes of increasing security on your vehicles.
