Charlie Fred Dearman Passes Away
August 1st, 2017 by iPhoneCharlie Fred Dearman, a longtime Monticello businessman, passed away, Sunday.
Dearman was best know as the town’s funeral director, but had also served as Drew County Sheriff, in the 1960’s (among many other service related positions).
In March, Charlie Fred was inducted into AR Sports Hall of Fame.
Services will be announced by Stephenson Dearman funeral home, and will be posted on MonticelloLive, when they become available.

He was my buddy and my friend. I will miss him dearly. I am so glad that I went and visited him at the Grand Manor. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Charles was one of the greatest men I have ever known. He always had a smile and kind words. When my loved one passed he made that sad experience a lot more easy because you knew he was so sincere and truly cared. May God bless his family in this time of sorrow. Charlie left a wonderful legacy.
