Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting for Grand Opening of H&R Block

The Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting event on Thursday, for the Grand Opening of H&R Block in their new location at 514 West Gaines Street.
“I know many of you are thinking that is weird having a grand opening since you have been in business for over 20 years so I want to explain myself,” said Amanda Nall, the business’ owner.
”In the year 2000, I bought my first H&R Block office here in Monticello. During the next 22 years, I grew my business to four offices and had a big part in all. With this, I was never able to put 100% into an office. This changes THIS year. We have sold or closed all of the offices except Monticello! We are focusing all of our energy into Monticello!
With this, we are trying new things and doing whatever we can do to help you, however you need it. We will be doing tax returns in office and outside the office. Our clients can come in and sit down with us or digitally send everything to us.
Throughout this tax season, we will be having many different events for the community to enjoy and some learning experiences too! I can’t wait to see what all this tax season will bring and I want each of you, no matter where you are, to be a part of it!
We offer tax returns for current and prior years for individuals and businesses. We also offer bookkeeping and payroll.”
