Cezar Assists in Re-Capture of Hamburg Jail Escapee
February 16th, 2022 by Joe BurgessAround 4 pm, MPD K-9 Cezar led the final search for an Ashley County jail escapee, who had been on the run since around noon.
Teairroine Stanley, a 22-year-old rape suspect with a 12-year-old victim from Chicot County, reportedly with sexual based charges out of Ashley County, was taken into custody by local law-enforcement, in the wooded area on Hamburg’s S. Cherry St., with Cezar and search parties or possibly 30 yards behind him.
Stanley escaped from Ashley County Sheriff’s staff while on a doctors visit.
The search was primarily in the area of Cherry and Franklin Street, near S. Cherry St. in Hamburg, including searches of a home, I travel trailer, and speaking with residents.
ACSO and HPD express their appreciation to Monticello Police, Arkansas State Police, Arkansas Highway Patrol, ATF agents, and everyone who assisted in the search for Stanley.
