Monticello Police have confirmed the arrest of a Lake Village man, with family ties to Monticello, on the charges of breaking or entering vehicles, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, theft of property over $1000, possession of meth or cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Monday night, at approximately 11:30 pm. Drew County 911 Dispatcher received a call from an unknown male subject stating that he had placed a bomb in a local industry, and was planning to blow the facility up. The suspect further stated “You better come save them,” and hung up the phone.
