Business Announcement: Monticello Nutrition Opening in Former Cakeland Building

He is still very busy getting all that is necessary together to provide Monticello with a convenient,affordable,and friendly nutrition club.

Monticello Nutrition will be located in the former Cakeland building, on HWY 425 South, across from AM Rental and The Rink pizza.

USPS Delivery Update

MLive just spoke to the Monticello postmaster, who confirmed that delivery trucks from Pine Bluff are not able to make the trip to Monticello, due to weather conditions.

Local mail delivery will not take place in Monticello, today, due to carry your safety.

The post office will attempt to open later today, based on staff being able to make it to work.

Decisions about Friday service will be made in the morning, based on weather and staffing conditions.

Citizens Bank Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Recently, Citizens Bank held their grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony, with the Monticello Drew County Chamber of Commerce, at their new Highway 425 facility, located just north of the 425/278 intersection.

The new location includes a meeting room, which will be a great addition to the city, especially after COVID-19 restrictions ease.

Citizens Bank’s New Financial Center Good News for Monticello, Drew County

Citizens Bank has completed construction and has opened its new state-of-the-art financial center located at 236 U.S. Highway 425 North in Monticello.  Consolidating its previous branches in Monticello allows the bank’s staff to more efficiently address the financial needs of consumers, professionals and commercial entities in the region.

A grand opening celebration for the facility will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, and will include remarks from bank and local officials, a ribbon-cutting, a reception and informal tours. (more…)
