Carline Harden Satterwhite
March 9th, 2014 by Christian Brothers Funeral HomeCarline Harden Satterwhite was born June 16, 1932 to the late Dan and Katie Mae Harden in Lacey, Arkansas. She departed her life on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband the late (Honorary) Bishop H. W. Satterwhite, three brothers Johnny Lee, D. S., and Will Harden and two sisters Murl Jean Hendrix and Sulisteen Riley.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age at Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church in Lacey, Arkansas.
Carline worked at Burlington Industries for several years until retirement. She worked faithfully in her church.
Her memory will live on and be cherished by her children: Rosemary (Joe) Britton, Wanda (Chester) Hutson, Sandra (John) Cason, and Vernon (Yolanda) Smith. Eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, four great-great grand children, her sisters Claudia Handley and Larnie Mae Ferrell, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
