Carjacking & Stolen Guns Leads to Friday Morning Arrests

Around 12:15, this morning, a Drew County Sheriff’s deputy on patrol, noticed a speeding vehicle on HWY 83 N., near Garnett Road.
As the deputy followed the vehicle, it continued traveling towards Monticello, taking multiple side streets, in an attempt to evade the deputy.
Monticello Police quickly headed that direction, and the vehicle was stopped on Robin Hood Dr.
The car had been reported stolen, Wednesday, from Pine Bluff, and is believed to have been involved in a carjacking, there.
3 Pine Bluff residents were taken into custody, two males and a female, and at least two stolen handgun’s were recovered.
The suspects arrested were Corey Stevenson, Krystal Edgerson, and Allen Lee, all between the ages of 18–21.
