Car Crashes into Comet Cleaners

Tuesday, at noon, the driver of a Chevy Avalanche had left highway 425, driving toward Walmart.
As he entered the Walmart parking lot, he collided with a Pontiac Vibe, traveling from the mall parking lot behind the convenient store.
Up on the impact, the driver of the Pontiac lost control of her vehicle, as it proceeded to drive across the nearby parking lot, and crashing into the Comet Cleaners building.
Monticello Police worked the accident, where the building (but no equipment) received damage.
MASI responded to transport the driver of the Pontiac, no one in the building was injured.
Rods Wrecker and Dan’s Towing removed the wrecked vehicles.

I don’t think I know of another town where accidents happen so often. You want to have a wreck or total your car…drive through Monticello..geez.
People should stop driving in store parking lots like they think they are on the interstate!!! If you are in that big of a hurry then you should leave earlier to get there in a reasonable time or just don’t go! People should slow down and enjoy life instead of rushing through it!!!!!!!!!
