Campfire Cookout at City Park Pavilion “Against City Policy”

Thursday morning, at approximately 6:20 PM, Monticello dispatch received a phone call reporting a “campfire cookout, going on at the small City Park Pavilion, at McCloy Park.“
MPD Officers & DCSO Deputies responded, and found this scene taking place.
The fire was extinguished, the participants claimed the area, and left soon after.
Obviously, building fires under pavilions yes against city park usage policies.
