Busby Receives Legacy Award from the Arkansas Bar Association
June 22nd, 2018 by SubmittedThe Arkansas Bar Association honored Monticello attorney Katelyn Busby with the Lawyer Community Legacy Award on June 14th during the association’s annual meeting at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
The award is presented to attorneys and judges who have performed public service out of a sense of duty, responsibility and professionalism. As one of two recipients, Busby was honored for her work with the Volunteer Organization for Center for Arkansas Legal Services; most notably for her dedication to helping others navigate an often-complicated legal world to change their lives for the better.
The Arkansas Bar Association was established in 1898 and is a voluntary, statewide organization with more than 5,000 members. Among its purposes are the advancement of the administration of justice and the fostering among its members of high ideals of integrity, learning and public service.
