Breaker Break- In, Friday, 2 Apprehended
August 19th, 2021 by Joe BurgessAccording to Monticello Police Department chief Jason Akers, two suspects were apprehended inside a local business early Friday morning due to the diligence of a patrol officer who was conducting building security checks.
Zackez D. Whitmore, age 19 and a juvenile were arrested inside the business after an MPD Patrolman observed a door open on the business that should not have been.
The officer requested assistance from other officers and made entry into the business where the officers found and apprehended two suspects inside.
Zackez D. Whitmore, age 19 and a second person, a juvenile, were arrested without incident.
Both suspects face charges of Commercial burglary, Breaking and Entering and Theft of Property.
