Boy Scouts Announce Youth Volunteer of the Year

De Soto Area Council of Boy Scouts of America recently named Renea McClendon as the 2014 “Youth Volunteer of the Year” for the Three Rivers District.
McClendon is Cub Master of Monticello Cub Scout Pack 69. Presenting the award on behalf of De Soto Area Council is Scoutmaster Terry Crook of Monticello Troop 67. Both Troop 67 and Pack 69 are sponsored by the First United Methodist Church in Monticello
