After a little bit of coaxing, this group of nurses from the Dermott office of Mainline Health Services, agreed to have their photo taken by MLive, after possibly saving a young man’s life, on their way home from work, Monday afternoon.
The ladies, while traveling to Monticello, arrived on the scene of a life-threatening vehicle crash, near Collins.
The group worked with the injured man, doing what they could to help him remind calm, as well as care for him until the rescue teams arrived to extricate him from the mangled Chevy pick up truck.
He was then transportec to McGehee Hospital, where they were met at the heli-pad by Air Evac air-ambulance.
