Big Rig Wreck in Dead Man’s Curve

At 20 minutes till 12, Friday, there was a two vehicle collision in Dead Man’s Curve, 2 miles east of Monticello.
Sources at the scene indicate that the dump truck driver was having trouble maintaining control of his vehicle, likely because of a front tire problem. That tire was blown at the end of the wreck.
The 18 wheeler was heading east. The Chrysler Pacifica was traveling west.
Monticello fire and rescue were paged out to remove the driver of the SUV. She was transported by MASI to DMH.
Big Wrecker and Rangel Towing removed the vehicles.
