“Now more than ever, District 26 and the people of Drew County need strong representation in our capital city,”said Judge Akin. “That’s why I’m proud to support Ben Gilmore for State Senate. “Bradley County deserves a State Senator who will work hard for the people of southeast Arkansas, and I believe Ben Gilmore is that person,” said Judge McKinney. “Ben knows the area, the people, and the critical issues facing our district, and I am proud to endorse him for State Senate.”
Gilmore issued the following statement:
“I’m honored to receive these endorsements from leaders who know southeast Arkansas, understand the issues facing the region, and know how important it is to have a strong voice in the state senate. Their confidence in me, coupled with the overwhelming support for my campaign from right here in southeast Arkansas, is humbling. This support shows we have the momentum going into 2020, and that the people of District 26 are ready for a senator that will boldly advocate for them, for conservative values, and for policies that will grow jobs and the economy.”
