American Bankers Association Honors Citizens Bank For Community Development Efforts

UCA Announces Spring 2020 Scholars

UCAFullLogoThe University of Central Arkansas has announcd the Dean’s List and Presidential Scholars for the spring 2020 semester.

Recognition on the Dean’s List or as a Presidential Scholar is based on grades earned during each semester of the regular academic year.

Eligibility on the Dean’s List requires at least a 3.5 GPA with a minimum course load of 12 credit hours. Students must achieve a 4.0 GPA with a minimum course load of 12 credit hours to qualify for recognition as a Presidential Scholar.

SeaArk Boats Host Annual Employee Luncheon

SeaArk Boat WinnerRecently, SeaArk Boats hosted their annual employee luncheon at SeaArk Boats in Monticello. The event consisted of a Yard Pong tournament, various prize giveaways, employee of the quarter announcement, lunch, and the yearly boat giveaway.

President Steve Henderson stated, “We are proud of the hard work and dedication that our employees show every day. This event allows us to give back to them and to say thank you. We do several other events throughout the year but enjoy getting to spend the day with our employees.” We gave away over $800 in prizes not including our biggest giveaway, a SeaArk Boat. (more…)

image0The Students of Kim’s Dance Factory will present our 25th Anniversary Recitals this Saturday, June 20 at the McCloy Park Amphitheater.
Performances will be 9am, 10:45am, 7:30 pm. We will celebrate our seniors: Rachel Barnett, Karson Grant, Lyndie Mullins, and Jessaca Shepherd during the 7:30 show.

Drew County Alumni basketball scholarship, this scholarship was created to encourage student participation in a post-secondary program of study.  Local donations from Union Bank & Trust, Commercial Bank, Arkansas Superior Federal Credit Union and the Pirate and Billie fans made this scholarship possible.

Blue & You Foundation Awards Grant to Arkansas Rural Health Partnership Allowing the Purchase of Telehealth Equipment for 14 South Arkansas Hospitals

ARHPThe Arkansas Rural Health Partnership (ARHP) was recently awarded a $136,400 grant from The Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas. This substantial grant allowed ARHP to purchase important telehealth equipment for member hospitals throughout south Arkansas. Access to quality care via telehealth is especially crucial to COVID-19 patients.  (more…)
