At 5 PM, Monticello dispatch received a 911 call reporting an ATV accident involving a Dodge Ram pickup and a Kawasaki side-by-side, on Highway 293, in the Selma area.

Clinton D. Waldrup, age 47, believed to be of the Selma area, was fatally injured during the accident, when the rear of his Kawasaki was struck by the Dodge, while both vehicles were southbound.

After the collision, the ATV veered left, crossed the northbound lane, and came to rest on the east side of the roadway.

Waldrup was declared deceased at the scene.

Arkansas State Police, Monticello Fire Dept., Drew County Sheriffs Deputies and OEM responded.
