Ashley County District Court Changes
March 16th, 2020 by Joe BurgessDistrict Judge Reid Harrod has announced that all nonessentialcourt proceedings previously set from March 16, 2020 through March 27, 2020, will be suspended in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and recommendations by relevant public officials. All cases set for March 17, 2020 are rescheduled to April 21, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. All cases set for March 18, 2020 are rescheduled for April 15, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. Court staff will be present in the District Court Clerks office to assist the public and can be reached by telephone at 870-853-8632. Alternatively, the court may be reached by email at hamburg@ashleycountydistrictcourt.org.
The court will remain available for processing criminal warrants and for video conferencing with inmates for first appearances. The court will continue to review Petitions for Ex Parte Orders of Protection and other emergency matters. If you are on supervised probation please continue to call on your scheduled review date.
Those who owe fines are reminded that payment of fines can be made online at MyFinePayment.Com or by telephone at 877-591-8768. There is a nominal service charge for using thisservice. Persons with questions about fines may call the court office at the above number.
