At 11:30, The defense attorney addressed the witness, the deceased victim’s wife, who replied, “with an allegation like that, we (all) needed to talk,” explaining why the wives were present.
She told how Eric (and she) and Cory (and his wife) went to Griggs’ house.
She then said that Eric and Cory went inside, “And as soon as the door closed, gunshots.”
She remembered calling 911, and the police arriving, before seeing Cory, again.
The court took noon recess, at 11:50.
