Arrest Made in Capital Murder Case
January 8th, 2016 by iPhoneSunday night, at approx. 12am, the Monticello Police dispatch was alerted to a shooting at Pilgrim Rest Apartments.
When officers arrived, they found Robert Mosher, 22 of Monticello, with a single gunshot wound.
EMS transported him to Drew Memorial hospital and he was later flown to Little Rock by helicopter.
Mosher passed away later that day. The Monticello Police and Arkansas State Police have been conducting the investigation, since the initial call.
Thursday, arrest warrant was issued for Damarcus Veasey, 18 of Monticello for the charges of Capitol Murder and Terroristic Act. The warrant was issued by District Judge Sara Hartness and no bond is set at this time. Veasey was arrested by the U.S. Marshalls in North Little Rock on Thursday, just before 5pm.
