Arrest at R&R Festival, 2nd Year in a Row
August 19th, 2009 by Joe BurgessUsually the follow up reports after a local festival don’t include arrest reports, but for the second consecutive year, this has been the case in Monticello.
Last year, a woman performing community service shoplifted a purse from a vendor, and then this year, another arrest took place at the local festival.
Saturday, many festival vistors watched as Russell Nordeenwas taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct during the Rhythm & Roots Festival. Nordeen was also charged with refusal to submit to arrest, and was able to bond out of jail, later that day.
