Armed Robbery at Winchester Store – 3 Arrested
September 19th, 2024 by Joe BurgessOn September 18, 2024 after 5pm a male subject entered the Winchester Stop N Shop where he displayed a firearm and proceeded to rob the store. After gathering the money he left the store and got into a vehicle with two other suspects. The suspects were apprehended a short time later by members of the McGehee Police Department.
Suspects Jaren Halloway (29), Timothy Francis (40) and Laynett Walters (21) were transported to the Drew County Detention Facility where they are facing the initial charges of Aggravated Robbery. This case is still under investigation at this time and charges may be amended.
