Armed Robbery at Local Motel

Around 10:45, Saturday night, 2 males robbed a Monticello motel attendant at gunpoint.
Each of the 2 suspects, who were wearing black hoodies and had their faces covered, reportedly had a handgun, as they entered Super 8, and robbed the attendant.
A small amount of cash was taken, and the suspects are believed to have fled into the woods, at the back of the motel.
Anyone who may have noticed any suspicious persons or activity, is asked to contact Monticello Police at 367-3411.
