Armed Robbery at EZ-Mart on HWY 425 , Wednesday Night

Last Wednesday night, around 10 pm, two unidentified black male subjects entered the EZ-Mart convenience, loacated on HWY 425 South.
The pair had their faces covered, and used a handgun in the robbery, where an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
No one was injured during the robbery.
Monticello Police and the Arkansas State Police are conducting the investigation.
Monticello’s other EZ-Mart was rubbed by two black male subjects in a “snatch and run” robbery the Friday before, November 18.

Poor EZ Mart:( Always getting robbed.
I hope they catch these crooks and give them the punishment they deserve!
This is ridiculous! How many times is this one gas station robbed a month? It seems like at least twice and it is getting old…..OH and it is a little strange that this is mostly the only gas station robbed! WEIRD!!!!!
i wold have a shot gun and int back room some night let them thank about what night
its cause they are the only store open after 10 or 11pm. E-Z mart needs in hire some off duty officers to sit in the stores after 10pm. at least for about 6 months. or start letting the clerks carry a weapon. next time it could be someones life they take and no money.
I sooo agree with you Wdodson, that would be a great idea. Hire a off /on duty officer to sit in the stores or maybe just sit out in the parking lot to keep all confusion down!!!
I think its weird too! I understand its the only place open after 10 or so but i think it might have something to do with an inside job. Its younger people that work at night and you always see people hanging out up there. I know if it were me hanging out around a store somebody would tell me to leave.
