Arkansas Scholars is a state-wide program of the Arkansas Business and Education Alliance. It is designed to motivate high school students to work harder, make better grades, be conscientious about attendance, and plan to continue their education beyond high school. Although not all school districts and chambers of commerce in Arkansas participate, over 70 school districts have adopted the Arkansas Scholars program. In 2017, Drew County was proud to have 88 of their high school seniors to graduate as an Arkansas Scholar.
