Sandra was a wonderful woman. She was a valuable help to me when I was getting my Master’s Degree in Library Science. This news is a shock and my heart is very heavy. Praying for her family.
Friend, beautiful classmate. Great memories.
I am so saddened to hear of such a great loss our communities have suffered. Mrs. Sandra was a wonderful person. She gave so many black girl someone to look up to. I am sure that I can speak for all when I say we were very blessed to have come in contact with her. May God rest her soul and provide peace and comfort to her family.
Beautiful person inside and out. Will be missed. Peace be with you angel!
Sandra was such a kind person, she worked in so many different capacities. She was a diligent worker in the Church, and was often asked to do many Poems as well as addresses for many occasions. It is with deep sadness that I speak on behalf of the Monticello/Warren District Missionary Society in saying Our Dear Sister will be truly missed. We Pray for the Family and may you find Peace and Solace during these hours of regretfulness. She will always be remembered as the Lady who was always there to help you at the University of Arkansas at Monticello Library. May God Be with you all.
This just really saddens my heart. Ms. Sandra was willing to help regardless if it was to help find a book, topic, or just to put a book away. She always had a smile on her face and tried to speak to each and every student or staff member that walked through the door. I spent many hours upstairs in the study rooms and she would always peek in and ask if I needed anything. Praying for peace and understanding for her family and friends.
Mrs.Sandra we’ll be missed we’ll miss her smile.Always had a kind word to say. Praying for the family.
Sandra was a wonderful person, so capable in so many ways, and always kind and pleasant. She was a dear friend, and my heart is heavy because of this loss. I will cherish the memories of times we spent together, and the grace and wisdom that she always showed. I am praying for peace for her family and for all who loved her.

The Death of Sandra Dupree Campbell is one of the most devastating moments in Southeast Arkansas for here was one Outstanding, Stellar, Honorable, Professional Administrator; in addition a three decades Historic Entity of the University of Arkansas-Monticello. Sandra was was one outstanding Faith Base and Community Base Non-Profit Organization service entity. This remarkable Woman will be tremendously missed by all and her most Honorable Stellar Tenure as Librarian of the University of Arkansas-Monticello is one remarkable achievement the Living, Dead or Unborn could not do it any-better. Sandra’s Death is not a Blind Alley that Leads Her into a State of Nothingness, But an Open Door that Leads Her to Eternal Life with the Almighty God(El Shaddhi). So It Be! SANDRA DUPREE CAMPBELL
I with (and later was supervised by) Sandra for about 5 years. She was a warm, supportive colleague and an absolute paragon of professionalism. As a supervisor she was your champion, guide and gave you a model to look up to. I will miss her.
I’ve known Sandra since I was 12 and she was the weekend librarian at Warren Library. I can’t believe this. I saw her in the Warren Library about three weeks ago, but didn’t speak to her because she look pre-occupied and a little angry. “I can always see her later.” No. Not always. I now wish I said something to her.
She was a great person.
So sad Ms. Sandra was always so helpful and just an all-around sweet woman.
The news of Mrs. Sandra passing is heartbreaking. She had such a giving and kind spirit. I recall the many times she helped me while in both undergraduate and graduate school. My prayers and thoughts are with her family and friends. You mattered Mrs. Sandra! Rest in peace.
My heart was deeply sadden at the news of Sandra’s passing. I met Sandra during my brief tenure at the UAM College of Business. Sandra was a great colleague and friend. She was passionate about serving others. She will be missed. Please keep her family and friends and in your prayers.
I am shocked and saddened! I worked with Sandra for over 15 years and she was the greatest professional I have ever worked with. So kind, so caring, with a willingness to help anyone. What a terrible tragedy! I hope she truly finds peace.
I am sadden and shocked to hear this news. She was a very sweet and sincere lady. During my days with her at UAPB, she was the best Miss UAPB by far. God bless her soul and her family.
If you or anyone that you know is depressed please talk to someone about it.
Prayers sent.
I am so sad that I will never be able to speak with Sandra again. We first met each other at a library meeting when we were both young. We interacted about various library projects over the years. We saw each other only at professional meetings and she was always so pleasant, interested in what was going on, and personally thoughtful. She is missed across the state. Those of us here in Fayetteville send our regards to her family and friends.
There are no words to express how shocked and sad I was when a co-worker told me of Sandra’s death. I remember her as young and excited when she first came to UAM. We shared a love of libraries, education, and students. I will be praying for her family and for her library family.
if you’re overwhelmed about any storm in your life; Let Go and Let God! My heart is very saddened by the death of Mrs. Sandra. She was a sweet and loving person and I loved her beautiful smile. Let’s
lift up the family in prayer.
Words are inadequate to express our sincere heart felt condolences and sympathy to Sandra’s family. Sandra was a friend and colleague during our stay at AUM until we relocated. Just knowing Sandra was a blessing and to know her was to love her. Her smile was radiant and infectious. Our prayers will continue for God’s peace and comfort to abide in your hearts as you heal from the tremendous loss. Even though our hearts are heavy and grieved, let us remember that God is still on the Throne and as the scripture says “There is no earthly sorrow that our Heavenly Father cannot heal.”
I can visualize your beautiful smile from UAPB days. You are now in a much better place where there are many mansions and one of them belong to you.
I am so sad to hear the news about this wonderful lady Sandra Dupree. She was our source of help at the UAM Library over 30 years ago. She was very professional and very nice. There are no words to express the shock I felt when I heard that she had died. I am praying for her family and the students at UAM. I am sure she will be greatly missed. UAM has lost one of its strongest pillars. We all loved Ms. Dupree.
I have know Mrs Sandra Campbell most of my life. We lived in the same town and attended the same church for many years. We renewed our relationship when I accepted the position of assistant professor at UAM.
Sandra has “always been” a warm and gently spirit. She loved deeply and was a real friend.
I will miss my friend and I will remember her radiant beauty, comforting smile and words of encouragement.
May the Lord bless her husband Mr. Bobby Campbell and family in this tremendous lost.
Sincerely, In Christ
Remembering the days at UAPB when you would exhibit that beautiful smile.
I was really saddened about Sandra death. She was God’s Gift to us.She was truly a great friend and a REMARKABLE person. Our season of companionship is over, but our FRIENDSHIP will last FOREVER. Her HOMEGOING CELEBRATION was AWESOME and fitting’TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!! Love and Prayers to her family.
This was truly some very sad news to hear of Mrs. Sandra Dupree-Campbell’s untimely homegoing. John 14: 1-3 states: Let not your hearth be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. And if I go and prepare a place for you. I will come again- etc. He has come again and taken a beautiful person to one of those many mansion. May GOD Bless you family, each and everyone of you, let it be known: He is an awesome GOD who makes no mistakes.!!!
Rest in Peace Mrs. Campbell. UAM and the DREW county will truly miss this beautiful lady!!
I knew Sandra well during my three years as an assistant professor at UAM School of Business. She was a fine lady and an excellent colleague. My deepest condolences to her family.
