A&P Commission New Members & $640,000 in CDs – Video
May 19th, 2017 by iPhoneThe advertising and promotion commission unanimously agreed to move approximately $640,000 into certificates of deposit, to increase the amount of interest on them.
The current commission members include city council aldermen Joe Meeks and Al Peer, Nita McDaniel of the MEDC, Glenda Nichols of the Chamber of Commerce, and Andy Patel of the Super 8 motel.
The board welcomed Shannon Herman as a new member, and approved welcoming back former member Kim Patel to the commission. Both ladies are involved in the daily operation of the Days Inn, Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express, of Monticello.
