Another Reason not to Drive around Road Closed Barricades
March 15th, 2016 by iPhone
At 7:30, Monday night, Collins-Cominto and Dermott fire and rescue teams were called to the “road closed” section of highway 35, near Grace Loop, where a driver drove around the “road closed” sign and his vehicle was washed into the ditch.
The caller reported that the driver was trapped in the vehicle, so both rescue teams responded. The driver was not injured, and was picked up by a man on a four wheeler, who brought him to the Dermott side, where the rescue team had arrived.
Drew County sheriffs deputies completed the report. C&L Wrecker fished out the waterlogged vehicle.
