Anderson Comments on Mayor’s Race Runoff

I would like to thank everyone who voted and to thank all who worked in this special election. In three weeks we will have the election to finish the 1 1/2 year mayoral term.
In the three months plus since being in office, we have accomplished many things. The Miracle League Field will start being laid out in the next 30 days. Lake Monticello repairs will begin within 30 days. The engineering firm will be in town Monday to check the street overlays in order to advertise for bids. The West Sewer pond enlargement will be advertised next week. We have made progress in our city.
We want to urge the residents of Monticello to continue the progress we have made in the last 3 1/2 months by electing David Anderson to complete the Mayoral term with this special election run off.
