AMI Pivot Instructions for Hamburg Schools, Wednesday- Friday
January 12th, 2022 by Joe BurgessDue to the enormous increase in positive Covid cases of students as well as staff, Hamburg School District will pivot for the remainder of the week. This means tomorrow, Wednesday, January 12-Friday, January 14 students will refer to their AMI packets.
It is important that everyone understand these are not free days. These are considered school days. School will resume on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
We will send meals home today with students for Wednesday. Meals will be available for pick up on Friday at the Noble/Allbritton and the Portland cafeterias between the hours of 9:00 to 11:30 am. Please call 870-853-9845 for the Noble/Allbritton Cafeteria and 870-737-4394 ASAP if you would like to pick up lunches for your child. Middle and High School pickups are at those same two locations.
If you have tested positive or considered a close contact, please follow all guidelines closely. This new variant is highly contagious.
We are asking our students, parents and community to please take the spread of Covid seriously. We do not want to pivot to AMI any more than becomes necessary. If you test positive, it is imperative you report to us and allow us to conduct contact tracing in order to keep people safe and prevent the spread. Please stay home and away from people for at least the five days advised from CDC.
If you have any questions please call our POC at 870-940-2008.
We will do the best we can to help our students, staff and families. Please stay safe.
Thank you,
Tracy Streeter
Superintendent
