AHTD Approved Streetwork in Monticello

Arkansas State Highway Commission approved a bid for improvements to roadways in Drew County, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The purpose of the project is to resurface 1.5 miles of roadway in Monticello..
Jordan Drive, from Scogin Dr. to Hicks Dr., 0.3 miles,
Hillcrest Street, from S. Pine St. to S. Maple St., 0.2 miles
N. Hyatt Street, from Hwy 425 to Gates Way Dr,. 1.0 mile.

This is great news!!! I would love to see E. Pope St from, Gabbert to Scott St to Hwy.425 next!!!!!These two street are in really bad condition. Also North Gabbert to 278 East. Let’s get them all fixed up so our city streets will not ruin our vehicles and make our communities presentable…
