Adcock Selling Triple-A (& Dan’s) Towing to Focus on Sheriff’s Election
April 3rd, 2012 by Joe BurgessAt Monday night’s Farm Bureau board meeting, where county judge and county sheriff candidates addressed the group, Ronnie Adcock announced that as of 3:30 pm, this afternoon (Tuesday), he would be out of the towing and tire business.
For approximately 5 years Adcock has owned and operated Triple A Towing. A couple of years ago, he also started Dan’s Towing and Dewey’s Tire. Those two businesses are also being sold.
The new owner is expected to be Towing & Logistics Management Service, a newly formed, locally operated business, which will make an official announcement, after the deal is completed.
Adcock will retain ownership of Spee-D-Lube, Custom Trucks, and Triple A Pawn Shop. He emphasized that he sold the businesses that could be considered a conflict of interest, due to his sheriff’s candidacy.
Phone numbers for Triple A Towing, Dan’s Towing, and Dewey’s Tire will still reach the new business, and all employees will keep their jobs with the new company.
