ACSO Drug Bust

On February 25, an Ashley County Sheriff’s deputy performed a traffic stop on a blue Jaguar near W. Pierce St. and Marias Saline Road.
Deputies performed a search of the vehicle and found a pouch containing a substance believed to be alprazolam. Upon further search, they found a baggie containing other bags believe to contain methamphetamine. Both occupants of the vehicle denied any knowledge/ownership of either drug.
Jimmy Don Kelly of Hamburg, Will be charged with driving left of center, possession of schedule for controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.
Jeffrey M. Williams, of Crossett, will face possession of methamphetamine charges.
