Man Tased by Police Remains in Hospital After Falling, Hitting Head on Street
December 17th, 2010 by Joe BurgessPolice approached a North Cooper Street man, age 50, while he stood in the middle of Cooper Street around 1 a.m. Sunday. The man reportedly responded in a confrontational manner and the officer tased him. He then fell to the street, likely striking his head on the pavement.
An ambulance was called to the scene and transported the man to Drew Memorial Hospital where he was treated and monitored until his release later that morning. The man was cited for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Around 2:30 that same afternoon, he was again taken to the hospital after beginning to have seizure-like episodes. He was then transported to UAMS in Little Rock where he remains in CCU.

JB is a harmless individual. He might talk a lot of stuff but would never harm anyone. I pray for his recovery. JB might drink quite a bit but , he has so much talent that you wouldn’t believe. I’m still stunned about this. Too much has been going on ìn our great city .
Insane!!!! I know of a young lady that was tased … She had just had surgery 2 weeks pryor to being tased.. Prayers are with the poor man that was tased!!!
