MHS FCCLA Students Compete In State STAR Events

Congratulations to members of Monticello High School FCCLA! Several members competed in State STAR Events and attended the State FCCLA Leadership Conference in Hot Springs on March 3 and 4, 2020.
Sydney Maloney’s project is Sports Nutrition Level 3. She received a Gold and advanced to Nationals. Felicia Schroeder and RaLyon Shaw competed in Focus on Children Level 3 and received a Silver. Ashton Davis and Karson Grant’s STAR Event is Public Policy Advocate Level 3. They received a Silver and advanced to Nationals. Jayden Johnson competed in Public Policy Advocate Level 2 and received a Silver. Lexi Reed and Corin Wilson’s STAR Event is Chapter Service Project Level 2. They received a Gold and advanced to Nationals. Members who advanced will travel to Washington D.C. July 5-9 to compete at the National FCCLA Leadership Conference. Congrats to all!
