MDA Attends Showbiz Regional Competition

Students from MDA attended Showbiz regional competition this weekend in Little Rock. Every routine that we took placed in the overall lineups! This is a huge accomplishment! So proud of our dancers and here is their adjudicated scores and all of the other winnings!Grace Lee (Senior, Solo, Lyrical, Sapphire)- High Gold, Costume Winner, Miss Senior Showbiz for the Sapphire Division, and she was the High Point Winner- 1st overall
Karissa Morman (Pre-Senior, Solo, Tap, Diamond) High Gold and 10th High Point
Alex Pennington (Senior, Solo, Contemporary & Lyrical, Diamond)- High Gold for both solos, and 8th High Point for her self choreographed Lyrical
Anna Boren (Senior, Solo, Tap, Diamond)- Platinum and 3rd High Point
Madelyn Terry (Pre-Teen, Solo, Lyrical, Ruby)- High Gold and 8th Overall High Point
The Wild West (Petite, Duet, Hip Hop, Ruby)- High Gold and 3rd Overall High Point! Jensen also won Photogenic for the Mini age division
Running (Junior, Duet, Lyrical, Ruby)- High Gold and 3rd Overall High Point
I’m a Lady (Junior, Duet, Tap, Ruby)- Platinum and 1st Overall High Point
Avery Barnes (Teen, Solo, Contemporary, Ruby)-Platinum and 3rd Overall High Point
Hayden Culpepper (Pre-Junior, Solo, Lyrical, Sapphire)-Gold and 9th Overall High Point
Olivia Harrod (Solo, Jazz, Junior, Ruby)- High Gold and 9th Overall High Point
Chloe Sanders (Solo, Jazz, Junior, Ruby) High Gold and 8th Overall High Point
Sidney Ballard (Solo, Jazz, Junior, Ruby)- Platinum, Icon Winner for the Jazz Division, Costume award, and 5th Overall High Point
