Update – 3 Vehicle, 1 Bus Crash at 425/278

At 1:45, Thursday afternoon, there was a 4 vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 425/278.
MPD, MFD, DCSO, MASI, SEEMS and a State Trooper quickly responded to the crisis.
Multiple injuries were involved, with the injured being taken to DMH and JRMC, in Pine Bluff.
The roadway was blocked approximately 30 minutes, while the injured and vehicles were removed.
A Drew Central school bus was involved in the accident, but there were no students on the bus.
According to sources at the scene, the driver of the Dodge pick-up likely had a medical issue, which caused her vehicle to crash into the back of a Pontiac Sunfire. The Dodge then proceed eastbound on E. Gaines St., colliding with the side of a Ford pick-up and the front driver’s bumper of a Drew Central school bus.
Reggie’s Towing and Rangel Wrecker cleared the roadway.
