Monticello Live

At 9 pm, over 4,000 County residents are currently without electricity.

Many streets are blocked with powerlines, and fallen trees.

I have yet to find a restaurant, drive-thru, or convenience store open.

Monticello Police, Drew County Sheriffs, Fire Dept., county & state road crews, Drew County OEM, and others are patrolling, clearing, & re-opening roadways.

There have been multiple wrecks, calls by darkness, glare, and lack of stop-lights.

Please stay home, stay as cool as possible, and maybe just sit on the porch, watching videos on MLive, since the power is out.

Please be careful.  The weather is so bad, even Pokémon went home
