3 Drug Arrests in Jordan Park, Wednesday

Jason Akers of the 10th Drug Task Force, were investigating a suspicious vehicle at Jordan Park in Monticello, around noon, Wednesday.While doing so, Raphael Carbage, age 30, fled from the vehicle on foot across Jordan Park. He was apprehended. A second subject, identified as Mason Smith, was outside of the vehicle and found to be in possession of approximately 800.00 (street value) worth of powder cocaine. Smith was out on bond for drug charges at the time of his arrest. A third suspect, identified as Ricky Givens, age 30, of Dermott, who was in the drivers seat of the vehicle, was arrested after Agents located suspected crack cocaine and an estimated (12) ounces of marijuana along with digital scales inside his vehicle.
Akers added, “Monticello Police Department was called to assist with the capture of these suspects, and their rapid assistance was instrumental in the successful resolution of the arrests.”
