State Police & Prosecuting Attorney Asked to Investigate Siemens Water Case

January 1st, 2015 by

Based on the recommendation of attorney Cliff Gibson, Mayor Joe Rogers has turned the $10,000,000 Siemens Water Improvement Project over to the Arkansas State Police and 10th Judicial Prosecuting Attorney Thomas Deen.

The letters above show Rogers’ letter, dated December 19, and his letter on December 31 to the City Council, explaining the issue.

This ongoing saga, along with the Economic Development contract, are both facing newly elected mayor Zack Tucker, when he takes office, on Friday.

I went to the water office 5 November 2014 and advised them of my mother being decease 27 October 2014. I paid them the bill that is due on 15th November 2014. 6 November 2014 the Tech advise to get it fix because it on your property. The city clerks advised me to get a plumber to fix the water leak. The water leak was fixed and a receipt was given. I gave the city clerk a copy of the receipt, a pc of the PVC line that was cut from line to show proof the it was on Siemens contractors. I spoke to the supervisor of Siemens Water Project. He stated, “I am not going to give you the money because you should have contacted me before you call a plumber.” I am still waiting on my money $70.00 !!!!!!
