Update – DMH Board Approves Settlement with Employees, But Doesn’t Release Details.
October 14th, 2014 by Joe BurgessThe Drew Memorial Hospital Board of Directors met in a special called meeting, Monday morning, and approved a “settlement” with “employees.”
After an executive session, the board re-opened into a public forum, only to vote to accept the settlement, with the stipulation that the details remain confidential, excpet where definded by FOI regulations.
MLive has requested the documents of the settlement, and those leading up to it, from the hospital and it’s representatives in the arrangement.
Updates will be posted, as details become available.

The only update in this story is that, late Monday, we were notified by hospital’s attorney, that due to the issues involved, DMH was seeking an opinion from the Arkansas Attorney General to clarifythe scope of the FOIA, as it applies to theis situation.
That response is expected later this week.
